Thanks Jay. She's one of a kind and and was a very fun project. I see you have quite a collection of boats! That Fish class sloop looks like lots of fun!
After two years, I realize the that the tender pictured isn't the plywood Martha's tender I built, but an Asa Thomson skiff. This was a very fun build. Traditional lapstrake cedar on sawn oak frames, double planked bottom with muslin and bedding compound between, copper riveted. Terpentine/linseed oil and pine tar on the interior. Not a drop of epoxy! Rows and tows like a dream.
Looks like a fun boat! Perfect camp cruiser, I suspect. I just saw that you 're in Sterling, my "home port". I have a boat in South Portland (gaff cutter Lydia) and 30ft S&S sloop that we keep in Brooklin (Loon) in the show. I have a 16ft Zip sloop, 1945, in my shop in Sterling now. Needs work, but should be in the water this summer.,
I love passing by these two spectacular Dragons on my way to and from our mooring. What beautiful boats! I look forward to seeing them again this summer. Cheers, Bill Theurkauf
I admire Here and Now every time I sail in and out of the Benjamin River. Beautiful boat! I didn't realize it was a Nat Benjamin design. Shares a family resemblance to our 1957 S&S gulf stream 30. Moored near the town dock last summer. Cheers, Bill Theurkauf

Maynard made them, and they are very comfortable. Nice to have with the self bailing cockpit and low coamings.30′ S&S Gulfstream 30 Sloop (1957) – LOON
Thanks. I built it over the winter of 2021-22 to plans from Wooden Boat. Very straight forward glassed plywood. Bullet proof and tow/rows well.60′ Powell Pilot Cutter (2004) – HESPER
Beautiful! I have a small gaff cutter that I will be saying out of South Portland (Lydia), so I hope to see you out on the Bay. Cheers, Bill Theurkauf
