25′ Folkboat Class Sloop (1951) – KLARA THEA

Hello Jan, MoinMoin KLARA THEA before this great show is closing it´s gates: I´d like to say hello to our closest neighbors on the map! KLARA THEA is among my favourites, together with two other wooden Folkes. Prob´ly we have met at one of the Folke Meetings at the WSG in Arnis without having contact. Enjoyed them very much 2 or three times! If in the future there will be another sailboat with cabin, it´s going to be a Holz - Folke. Quite sure! Hope to see you, maybe sailing by, on the Schlei! Best regards Stephan Contact: PetoyaBlue@vodafonemail.de

30′ Howell/Waters Converted Chesapeake Deadrise Oysterboat (2020) – MERLIN

Hello Jonathan, I like those sturdy old workboats very much! There is so much character, history and much more about them... One of my best moments at our voyages under sail was back in maybe in 2008, at another festival at Willemstad, Netherlands. Was invited to take a trip on a tugboat steamer, JAN DE SERKE - John The Strong - built in 1913. Also was allowed to steer JAN for a while through all that traffic. Fascinating! All the best for you and MERLIN, greeting from Germany Stephan

42′ Bombigher Schooner (2020) – ANNA MARGARETHA

Hello, Goedemorgen Ricco, I am Stephan, writing from Germany. I have discovered your wonderful ANNA MARGARETHA a few days ago and at once put her on my favourites list. We had been sailing the Netherlands´ waters for 8 years starting in 2001 in Workum, which also was Port of Home of our 35 ft.Vindoe MEIKE V. Also had been guests at Urk & enjoyed that visit very much. Your schooner is a truly stunning boat, I also like her below decks accomodations very much! And what a great effort building her... great job, man, Besides sailing our Drascombe Longboat PETOYA...

18′ Sailing Whitehall (2017) – FOGG

Hello Tom, thanks for such a beautiful and detailed boat page. I have read some of your articles - think it was in 2017/18 - about building the PHOENIX III design and sailing it in one of the boat rallies. Think it was about the Everglades Challenge. That gave me a good amount of new and valuble input on how to carry on with small boating. Regards from Germany! Stephan

22′ Watkinson Drascombe Longboat (1970) – PETOYA BLUE

Hello John, happy to hear from Canada! And thanks a lot for your appreciative words. Windsor, Ontario, that is a Hockey Town, am I right? Had the honour and the pleasure to accompany a junior team of the Missisauga Reps on a part of their European Tour, back in the 80´s. Still wear the Maple Leaf button I received as a present on my beanie cap - in cold weather / when sailing. Yeah, the Drascombe Longboats! They´re really great boats - although PETOYA is our smallest boat up to now, in a way she is giving us the most...

19′ Drascombe Lugger Class Sloop (2021)

Hi Sharon, I am Stephan from Longboat PETOYA BLUE, Germany. We´ve been in contact in 2017 or so, when I ordered a gaff yaws and some parrel beads for giving PETPYA a second rig, with the original gunter main. Made the gunter spar in my little wood shop, according to articles from the DAN online forum. To my surprise, everything worked out fine. If you like to see the new mainsail in natura; there´s a picture of it on PETOYA BLUE`s boat side. Of course I gave your boat(s) and your company a big like. I always enjoy to see...
