HI Alfons, I've been admiring Julieanne ever since she showed up on the WCBS site. Was building her smooth instead of lap one of the takeaways from my writeup? I'd love to see more photos of her. Other than quieting the lap noise by filleting, the only other change I'd like to try is to lighten the rig with a carbon mast and Dyneema shrouds. I'd add a pair of Dyneema runners, too, but use them only when the mast starts jumping around off the wind in a seaway.
