Thanks for you comments Thad. At the moment building a new boat is only on my wish list, primarily because workshop space is not available. I have of course been researching the internet and do have a number of preferences including the John Welsford Navigator, the Selway Fisher Stornoway 14 and possibly Campion Boats UK Arethusa 15. You will note that they are all relatively short, light but stable and beamy boats, exactly what I am after. I am looking for a bit more comfort in the next boat.
