16′ Nolan Micro-Motorsailer (1980) – HEATHER

Hi Annie As per the write up I only launched Heather twice to work on the trailer. I didn't rig her for sail, have not installed an engine and do not have proper oars. I am not a dock person but stayed aboard at a dock so I could come and go easily. I for sure prefer to anchor out or have a mooring, of which there are none in Port Townsend. Curtains are in the works so at least I'll have a bit of privacy. Glad you like Heather.

12′ Welsford Scamp (2016) – SOUTHERN CROSS

Thanks It was an interesting experience in patience and just not minding the daily discomfort for the 62 days I lived aboard. Her next voyage to another unlikely place is in the final planning stages. I appreciate your comment!

Hey Chris. You have that right. The great designer John Hanna once said "The hardest boats to design are the smallest ones." I'll never forget the evening my phone rang and there was my friend Marty living up to his promise. I knew at that moment I had to say yes in spite of the fact there was no way I could pull it off financially at the time. He generously offered me 6 months to complete payments and I managed it all in 30 days. Great guy, great boat and opportunity I knew I had to go for. Glad...

Thanks. As mentioned she came my way at absolutely the most inopportune time in my life but so glad she did.
