36' Winslow Yawl (1964) - WINDSONG

Windsong has been a part of our family for many years. After passing through 3 other owners we purchased her back and have been caring for her again. We have sailed her extensively year round in the Salish Sea now for many years. We enjoy year around trips and visiting ports and beaches in the San Juan and Canadian Gulf islands. The most recent major work was a new rudder that Andy designed. This past year we upgraded our wood burning stove to the keep the chill off for the colder month’s adventures.

In 2022 Windsong and crew sailed in the Port Townsend Shipwright’s Regatta, Master Mariner’s Regatta and participated in the first fully in person Woodenboat Festival. In addition Andy and crew crossed the border into Canada for some Gulf Island adventures and the Classic Boat Festival in Victoria, British Columbia. Long weekends and spontaneous overnight excursions include Cypress Island and various local San Juan Island excursions.

February 2023 Andy will be taking her back to Port Townsend where he will spend a couple weeks finishing a new mainsail at North West Sails and Canvas to accompany the new jib from last year. During that time Windsong will again participate in the Shipwright’s Regatta beginning this years sailing adventure season.
