Owner’s Description
18′ Whitewater Dory “Two Medicine”Okoume Plywood sheathed in glass. Ash outwale, cedar removable inwale. The first 8 years she was 16’6″ and was lengthened to 18′ 3″ later.
A manual big gulp and 12v bilge pumps clear the footwell, although only the GC has provided water big enough to require their use; self bailing elsewhere. 12v “fairy lights” under the inwale and in the large storage hatches provide night lighting. 50W solar provides ample charging.
She’s been down the Selway, Middle Fork of the Salmon, Colorado through the Grand Canyon, Middle Fork of the Flathead, and many Montana rivers. A large cooler fits in the center cockpit and takes up much of the space and acts as the rowing seat. A light weight removable platform rolls over the footwell allowing for sleeping on the boat.
