36' Kinney Pipe Dream Sloop (1964) - TRUANT

Here is Truant, a 36’6″ Pipedream sloop. A Frances Kinney design. We acquired her in Nova Scotia in May of 1989. She was built in Lunenburg at the Smith and Rhuland shipyards in 1964. Her hull is mahogany on oak frames. She has a large cockpit and 6’2″ headroom in the cabin. We keep her in Toronto at Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club. If you don’t see us out sailing her, we are most likely working on her bright work. This particular yacht is featured in Skeen’s elements of yacht design a very special book that is a must in most yacht designer’s library.
