23' Star Class Sloop (1965) - THETIS

Thetis, hull number 4929, was built by Erich Jaklitsch in Austria in 1965. She is a last generation wooden Starboat and one of the few surviving boats of that era in original condition. She has her original mast and all the features and gadgets which were top notch technology at the time, including many Duarte Bello fittings. Thetis competes in wooden boat races and in the growing community of Vintage Starboats in Europe. In 2021, Thetis finished 5th out of 17 and 1st with wooden mast during the annual Vintage Starboat Race on Lake Zurich.
