34ft cold molded cutter Taurus, designed by Bruce King and built by McClelland Yachts in Kenora Ontario.
Taurus is one of a series of interesting designs done by King, based on Herreshoffs Ticonderoga.
She is cold molded of fir and mahogany veneers, with mahogany structural elements. Decks are teak.
A deep fin keel and wide hull give her plenty of righting moment to stand up to the large sailplan.
