Built in the classic post-War English tradition, this inland waterways displacement cabin-cruiser celebrates mahogany. Always in private hands, she’s cruised the R. Thames, the Bedfordshire Great Ouse system & the R. Cam, extensively & stylishly. The overhauled original Perkins 4-108M diesel is mounted aft, with hydraulic drive to a single shaft, Sleeping up to six in two cabins, she’s sociable, comfortable & civilised, modern systems not detracting from the beautiful interior.
A much-loved craft, in the same hands since 1993, scrupulously & proactively maintained, she’s berthed at her yard of build, Jones Boatyard St Ives, Cambridgeshire, the oldest inland marina in England, having celebrated its 75th Anniversary in founding-family care.

Tangle is beautifully maintained to an exemplary standard. She is an absolute credit to her owner Colin and it is a real treat to see her each time we visit St Ives.
As Tangle trickles by I always have to stop to admire the grace and elegance she brings to our river. She is a much loved boat and not just by her owner. It is so nice to see her back on the yard where she was built and now maintained – by the same family L H Jones and Sons.

Beautifully well maintained cruiser, a credit to her owner and an absolute pleasure to see her gliding through the English waterways.
Thanks Andy. You must show “Nymph” next year.
