24' Bridges Point 24 Sloop (1998) - SUNNY DAY

Joel White designed daysailer based on Nat Herreshoff’s Alerion. The boat, Sunny Day, named for a favorite Springsteen song, is the cabin version with marine head and 2 berths and a mini kitchen. Sunny Day was restored and customized by French & Webb in Belfast and has custom teak seats, and an electric engine (Thoosa) with 2 24V Torqeedo batteries and an approximate range of 20 miles at 4 knots. Successfully raced in the 2019 Camden Cup (i.e. in race 1 placed 5th in our very first race with her beating the eventual winner of our class– race 2 we do not discuss). She sails like a dream on all points of sail.
