Shiralee was built in the 1970s in Sydney and I am the third owner since her launch in 1980.
Her hull construction is Spotted Gum backbone with Douglas Fir planking and copper nails and roves.
The previous owner had stripped out the interior and I am getting ready to replace the deck with a local timer called Celery Top pine and do an internal fitout.
