20' Atkin Ninigret (2009) - SHANGRI-LA

Shangri-la was built by Roeboats of Ballydehob, Co Cork, Ireland, in 2009. Designed by John Atkin for the waters of Ninigret Pond, Rhode Island in 1963 she was the boat he chose for his retirement.
Built in epoxy encapsulated wood and driven by a modest 30hp motor. Ninigret is an efficient and ecologically sound outboard that has a large cockpit roomy enough for fishing and day trips. Ninigret is one of those simple well mannered boats that will turn heads where ever she goes. She currently lives on the wild and beautiful Lough Corrib.
