Had she been built ten years later you’d probably see her with Marconi instead of gaff sails. Today, gaff yawls are so rare that they really stand out, even at a distance. Another feature rarely seen these days is the round-fronted trunk cabin which, because it follows the sheer of the hull and the crown of the deck, harmonizes perfectly. Because they terminate gently instead of abruptly, round-fronted cabins can be located farther forward without spoiling a boat’s look. SEMINOLE’s, in fact, was extended when her new interior arrangement required expanded headroom.
