22' Calkins Bartender (1975) - SCHATZI

Schatzi is a 22′ Bartender built true to George Calkins’ sea-worthy, double-end, planing design. She was built by a German merchant marine living in California. Her name means “Little Darling” which she truely is. She has wonderful, sweeping lines and proportions. Built from marine plywood and mahogany frames, and powered by a Chrysler 318 V8, she can do well over 30 knots. After 45 years and 5 owners, she is still going strong.
