18' Payor Muscongus Bay 18 Sloop (2013) - RAVEN

After hosting the launch of Andy Payor’s creation “Tracie” at our docks in 2011, we were so taken with the design we knew that it would be our next sailboat. Her traditional lines and modern underbody reminded us of the Luders 40 that we had owned a number of years ago. We also wanted to incorporate some of the design elements of the Murray Peterson schooner that we owned for many years (traditional colour scheme, bronze hardware, goldleaf cove stripe, lazy jacks, abundant use of mahogany, etc.). The end result, after 2 years of planning and construction, was the 2013 launch of our “Raven”, a manageable and joyful way for two retirees to sail into the future with constant memories of their sailing past.
