30' Chris-Craft Sea Skiff (1961) - QUEEN MARY

It is amazing, how much interest there is for vintage classic boats like the Chris Craft Sea Skiff 30. While out cruising admirers will wave, while dockside people will gather to enjoy seeing something different and special. The white hull’s stark contrast to the rich red mahogany brightwork is nicely merged by the oatmeal colored Nautolex non-skid vinyl decking. The interior exudes class with the Nautolex Yacht Plank flooring, gorgeous mahogany seating and galley area, and cleanly styled upholstery capped with a white canvas suntop. Power is from twin Chris Craft (GM) 283 CID/185 Hp inboards and this boat handles exceptionally in close quarters.

Notes: This gorgeous Sea Skiff was skillfully restored by Dave Watts of Little Rock Boat Works in Rice, Minnesota 19 years ago (2002) and still looks amazing! Dave Watts has had many of his restorations receive awards in many boat shows, even the prestigious Concours De Elegance at Lake Tahoe. In 2015 the owner decided to have a complete new bottom installed along with some transom work and a repaint of the hullsides, this work done at Skiff Craft Boats in Plain City, Ohio. Last fall the bottom received fresh copper antifouling paint. The current owner has kept this wonderful classic docked under a canopy and indoor winter stored which has helped keep her looking so beautiful.
