24' Kuhn Hoopers Island Draketail Replica (2017) - PINTAIL

Authentic wooden replica of a 1920s Hoopers Island Draketail bay workboat. Built by the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s apprentice boat building program. Made of teak, cedar, oak, and mahogany. A bronze stick steers the boat, connected to the tiller with ropes and pulleys. I bought the boat from the museum a few years ago when they put it up for sale in their annual charity auction.
