“My Girl” was built as a commuter Launch by R Lang in 1925 to a design by W Hand Jnr. She travelled regularly from the Wade River to Auckland before the roads in the area were well formed. During WW2 she served in the RNZ Navy as a fast patrol boat out of Whangarei. She was restored in 2018 to her original layout and appearance.
