    1. Am fascinated by your Deluxe Runabout, as is the most similar to ours I’ve ever found. See page 9 of 27. Coincidently, also repowered by KFL from mid-50’s. If you want to look at the Equip. Record sheet (Hull Card), your upholstery was named “Pigskin”. Although ours was modified, the boats share many of the unique items of the 1940 model. BTW, renaming a boat brings no more “bad luck” than any other superstition! That said, “Miss Hayden” is as fine a name as any. Wonder if she was “Sexy”???

    2. James – Great backstory and history on the boat. She is beautiful. You should be proud.

      We have been to Sandpoint & Coeur d’Alene many times (a story in itself, for another time), great country.
