46' Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 30 Class Sloop (1902) - MASHNEE

Herreshoff Mfg. Co. turned out fourteen identical sisters in a single winter! Despite style changes, this design because of drawing only 5’3″ has remained useful for cruising even after racing as one-designs ended. Four of the surviving six including MASHNEE received thorough restorations that were completed in 2008. Instead of carrying the original double-headsail gaff rig, MASHNEE, restored in Vermont by Darling Boat Works, sets a marconi mainsail and only one jib for easier handling.
