26' Giles Cutter (1974) - MANUITI II

Manuiti II (26 ft) is a lengthened version of Trekka (20ft 6 ins), the boat sailed around the world single-handedly by John Guzzwell in 1955. It is likely that it is one of only three boats build to this extended design in NZ and possibly the world. A major refit was completed in November 2021 by Chris Rayment and Gregg Mahoney of Custom Boat Builders, Beachmere Queensland. The boat is triple layered cold molded NZ Kauri, now overlaid with 600 gsm fibreglass.
