Owner’s Description
Macaw is a Sam Crocker designed gaff-rigged centerboard ketch. Build by Sturgis Crocker and launched in 1956. I have owned it for 30 years. It is 42′ LOA, 10′-6″ beam and draws 2’6″ with the centerboard up. She was design for sailing in the Bahamas, but has been in Puget Sound for the past 50 years. I have sailed her extensively in Puget Sound, the San Juan Island, the Gulf Islands, and Desolation Sound, Canada. We’ve frequently been to the WoodenBoat Festival in Port Townsend,WA.Already a member? Log in herePhotos
