16' Marshallese Walap Proa (2016) - LAGUNA

PJOA Laguna was the first boat from PJOA 5m ( 16,4′) line. Designed in 2012 and launched in 2014.
Design based on traditional Marshallese Valap construction type. She was designed for spending time on calm, sheltered waters. Spending time meant for us: sailing, paddling, sunbathing, snorkeling, and fishing. Exept that, you could drive this boat cartop to you favorite spot, assembly in about 30 minutes and go. That was the initial concept. Due to its unexpected good sailing abilites on most cources, selfsteering, reefing sytem in bigger sail, huge nad very comfortable platform we achived most of our ideas.

After a few years of exploatation we gather enough expirience to make Laguna 2. With few utility improvments, manufacturing technology and even more classic look this boat is once again perfect choice for day sailing, easy transportation Micronesian style canoe.
