17' Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 14 Gaff Sloop (1985) - JUDE

Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 14, the hull (cedar on white oak ribs) built faithfully to L. Francis Herreshoffs’ design in 1985 by Graves Yacht Yard in Marblehead, Mass. The topsides, laid cedar, were finished at the Paul Rollins shop in York, Maine. She’s gaff rigged with Nat Wilson sails. “Jude” is a slightly larger variation of LFH’s father, Capt. Nat Herreshoff’s, popular 12 1/2.
