Rescued as a derelict lying in a Cape Cod bramble and trucked to Jeff Rutherford’s yard in Richmond, CA, this P-class sloop took on a new life there but retained her original simplicity: no engine and no systems. For sport, however, she carries a gaff topsail, and for elegance, a teak instead of a canvas-covered pine deck.
