Hurrica V is a 1924 Classic wood ketch designed by Charles Nicholson of Campers and Nicholson fame. It is a Edwardian-era gentleman’s yacht, recently benefitting from a 9-year restoration. It was built in Australia for a wealthy businessman, and had ten owners over nearly 100 years. It served as a patrol boat for the Australian Navy in New Guinea during WWII, and is now home-ported in Redwood City in the San Francisco Bay. Hurrica V was featured in the movie “The Great Gatsby” starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
