Owner’s Description
Originally named the Princess Pat, the Hindu is one of the longest running sailing charter boats on the United States East Coast. Built in 1925 in Maine, she started offering public sails in Provincetown, MA in 1947 after scouting for German U-boats in the Hooligan Navy, and sailing to India and back with spices. In Provincetown she helped initiate the whale watching industry, and is the only original wooden vessel left representing the enormous fleet of grand banks fishing vessels that used to line the harbor. She is currently being rebuilt as thoroughly as she deserves to be in anticipation of celebrating her centennial.Already a member? Log in herePhotos
