41' Ohlson/Molich Sloop (1967) - GYRE

Gyre is a modern version of a classic, mid-60s racer. It was originally commissioned for the Bermuda Race by a family in Connecticut. It was rescued from life on the hard, and with an extensive refit by Rockport Marine, the cockpit was expanded to allow for the large family of its current owners to share the boat with friends and relatives. With her suite of sails from Downs Sails in Danvers, MA, and the conscientious upkeep from Crosby’s Yacht Yard, she remains a competitive racer.
