40' Monk Tri-Cabin Motor Cruiser (1953) - GEORDIE

MV Geordie. 1953 40’ Monk Tri cabin motor cruiser. I bought Geordie, then Kia Ora III in Victoria in 2015 and moved aboard with my dog Geordie. As Geordie was ageing I named the boat after him so that I’d always be travelling with Geordie. I’ve lived aboard full time while carrying out a fairly comprehensive refit. New planking, frames, floors, refastening, repowered with a new Beta Marine 60. Wiring, plumbing and a complete new interior fitout. There’s so much still to do but I have time. I plan to live aboard for many years to come. Ant to cruise the Great Loop and eventually Europe.
