Great boat Thomas, Beautiful job on the interior. I had a 1973 Bristol that I did over from a bare hull. So, I know the labor and love you put into it. Dave Satter

Hi David, and thanks for your feedback. Yeah, she was quite a project but immensely satisfying, and I’ve never regretted taking on the job. She’s currently in the PNW, has been to Alaska, and I really enjoy being aboard her. When I was working as a woodworker for many years, I put my heart into every job but seldom saw the results of my labor after the jobs were completed. Ellie is different, and I’ve been enjoying the heck out of her for ten years. Thanks again for your comment and I hope that you enjoyed your Bristol project. By the way, my brother has a beautiful Bristol 35 and loves the boat.

Love the double tiller arrangement! Did you come up with that? Brilliant!

Hi Brandon- I’ve never seen such a thing, but I can’t imagine that this is the first. It was a little tricky- had to have a new bronze tiller head cast and machined, but the whole thing has worked out really well. See ya.
