I’ve been quietly drooling over your boat ever since I saw her on OCH a summer or so back. What an absolute beauty. I’ve always loved the Marsh Hen design, but you’ve really added something special. Wish I could have caught a glimpse of her when the family and I were in Maine last October. All the best to you!

      Arthur,
      Beautiful beautiful boat!
I would really hope to cross paths some time.
      All the best,
      Craig Buttner (Rozinante)

Thanks Craig! Well, I guess we have a mutual admiration society going on here. It would be great to get together and trade stories. We both have cockpits designed for just that, so we are in good shape. All we have to do is make it happen!

The best conception, design and execution in the whole show!!

Well, thank you, David. I am extremely impressed by the number of amazing vessels in this amazing show. Reading your comment, singling out Eastward for such praise, requires me to honor the many years of collective experience, which is reflected in the finished product. The list of worthy mentors, who have taught and inspired me during my life in good boats, remains a blessing for which I am grateful every day. Please let me know if you are in the area. We need to take Eastward out for run!

How gracious of you! We’ll make a point of looking you up when down your way next.

By the way, where are the coves in the first and fifth photos? They look very familiar. The ’tiled stove flat’ is a charming touch and the long cockpit table is inspired!
