17' Herreshoff Coquina Class Cat Ketch (2007) - DREAM
Owner’s Description
dream (not capitalized) is a Nathaniel Herreshoff-designed Coquina built in 2007 by Timm Schleiff, who completed her construction at the ripe old age of 18. She sports a cat-ketch rig. She was well-received at the Wooden Boat Show in Mystic, CT in 2007. Her name was given to her by her previous owner and is from a poem by e.e. cummings: “now is a ship/which captain am/sails out of sleep/steering for dream”. It is indeed a dream to sail her off her trailer here in the Dallas area, where the sight of her makes all the other captains as green with envy as the color of her beautiful lapstrake hull!

Hello neighbor! Glad to know there are other wooden boat enthusiast in the area. Love the lapstrake on your boat.
We need to get other wooden boats from Texas in this show next year.

Thanks, Bryce! I hope to see your Catspaw dinghy one of these days.
