41' Hunt/Howland Concordia Yawl (1960) - CORIOLIS

Coriolis, veteran of both American coasts, is Concordia Yawl No. 82, built by Abeking & Rasmussen in 1960. Originally christened Starsight, she is one of the 41′ versions drawn by C. Raymond Hunt. She came west to San Francisco in 1981 and was then taken to Seattle. In 2002 she was on the edge of the famous Seattle Yacht Club fire which destroyed 15 boats. Although scorched, she was expertly restored by The Concordia Company, Padanaram, MA and sailed in New England for two seasons, She returned to the Pacific Northwest in 2005. She has appeared in numerous magazines and on the covers of Sail and Sailing. Her home port is West Sound, Orcas Island and this is her forty-first year in our ownership.
