44' Parker Pilothouse Ketch (1952) - BELLINA

With an ample and versatile staysail ketch rig, pilot house with full controls and great visibility plus outside steering and a reliable six cylinder Ford Lehman providing plenty of power, Bellina comes pretty close to being an ideal blend of sail and power. Under a previous long term owner she traveled widely from Europe to the Pacific Northwest. We found her in Florida somewhat forlorn after his death, but her quality build and basic soundness was still apparent. We trucked her to Maryland and spent years restoring and and upgrading. All systems are new and the interior was remodeled to keep its traditional, warm feel but be more open and comfortable. With both diesel hydronic heat and propane fireplace plus the pilot house she is great for cruising comfortably a little earlier and later in the year than most.
Based on the Chesapeake for the first twenty years we had her (with an extended cruise to the Bahamas a few years ago and another year spent cruising the east coast) Bellina is now moored in Brooklin ME and stored inside off season.
