26' Herreshoff Alerion Class Sloop (1997) - ADELARE

Adelare is one of only a few exact replicas of N.G. Herreshoff’s Alerion. The first time I saw Alerion at Mystic Seaport I thought she was the most beautiful boat I’d ever seen. 40+ years later I own her sister and in 109 years no one has ever been able to improve upon Captain Nat’s design. She is fast in light wind and even with two reefs her helm is light and well balanced.
