Owner’s DescriptionSchooner Slocum, Howard Chapelle, Corsair 41, 1980. Built in Sorel/Quebec/Canada per Jacques Fortin. Probably the last traditional built schooner in Quebec. Wood, oaks frame with mahogany planking. 41 feet on deck, 52 feet total, 5’10’´draft, 22 000 lbs. Sailing ground: the Sorel Islands area on the St-Lawrence river, Quebec, Canada. New owner/captain Stéphane Massie. Previous owner/builder, Jacques Fortin. Lovely boat, really secure and forgiving. Great and accelerating sailing when the wind blows. A head turning vessel that don’t go unnoticed. Navigation history is on the St-Lawrence from Montreal to the Maritimes (golf St-Lawrence and East Coast Canada) and Côte-Nord. For our part this last summer our navigation went from Montreal to Rimouski. Photos Map No Records FoundSorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.
