The 26’ gaff sloop, MARTA, is a milestone for Gannon and Benjamin as she’s our first boat with electric-auxiliary power–a 48 volt Electric Yacht Quiet Torque 10 that may be charged with solar panels or plugged into a dock. Marta is a nimble daysailer with basic overnight accommodations for “pocket cruising.” Her jib and mainsail are self-tending and may be set and lowered from the spacious cockpit that seats six.
