“Taggs” is a Thamesskiff build by Tom Tagg & Sons on Taggs Island, Hampton Court, England in 1880. It was used by Mark Edwards as a Camping Skiff in his hire fleet. The boat was being sold to an other German customer, later on it found its way into our collection when they realized, they could not restore it themselves.
We rebuild the whole underwater area, the stem and seats, repaired a lot of cracks and got all the old varnish off and oiled or re varnish everything with an oilvarnish. Since than the boat is often used under oar and sail for small tours on our local river Ruhr or on longer tours all over Europe.
