    16 Square Meter sloop built for the Australian WoodenBoat Festival in Franklin, Tasmania.
    Invited to build a tipical Dutch design for the Australian WoodenBoat Festival we chose the 16m2. Designed 90 years prior to the festival by a Frisian hairdresser, we thought this might be a good classic for the show.
    In the WoodenBoat Center in Franklin, Tasmania, we found a very nice place to build her in 9 weeks.
    We is a group of six students boatbuilding from Holland and their teacher.
    Hosted by the very nice people of Franklins Living Boat Trust, we had a marvelous time and a good getaway from our Dutch winter.

    Over 9000 of this design have been built in The Netherlands.
