13' Chapelle Lapstrake Melonseed Skiff (2004) - JASRO

Traditional Lapstrake 1888 Barnegat Bay Melonseeed Skiff Duck Gunning boat. JASRO was built off the original designs from the plans in Smithsonian Museum.

It was built by my brother and niece in 2004. He was diagnosed in 2014 with ALS, no longer able to sail, and passed in 2017.

JASRO are the initials of his children my niece and nephew. My niece inherited the boat, and my wife and I help her maintain it and sail it with her.
