11' Flat Bottom Skiff (2023)

New traditionally built 11′ flat bottom skiff. Northern White Cedar bottom planking and Atlantic White Cedar side planking on White Oak chines, frames and stem with White oak plank keel, skeg, and runners as well. Sapele(African mahogany) transom and rail structure. Fastened with silicon bronze screws and copper rivets. Bottom planking was soaked with raw linseed oil to encourage greater stability over time. Finished surfaces are Kirby paint and LeTonkinois varnish. Has two rowing stations for trim and can carry 2-3 adults comfortably. Comes with a pair of 7′ Shaw and Tenney Ash oars, 6’6″ pair available as well. This skiff would be great as a tender for a cruising boat or as a family boat to explore with and teach your kids how to row. Fits nicely in the back of a pickup truck
