George Lawley and Sons tender, built approximately 1920. The boat was given to me years ago by my cousin, Bob Baker.
New frames by Thad Danielson in 2008 and new stem, a couple of planks, new floors, strip and finish etc…Christian Chaves ( of Middletown RI in 2019
A great little tender- rows easily, carries a lot of weight.

Beautiful tender. I am headed to Tripp’s tomorrow to figure the next steps to a Yanmar engine that needs to be installed in a Marshall 22. Is that where you keep your beautiful tender? Did you build your tender?
Thanks, Michael. No sailing rig, and without a centerboard I don’t think she’d be very maneuverable… but I do row her around the Westport River and she will be serving as tender to the 1965 Pearson Vanguard I’m trying to finish restoring and get cruising on….
Sweet boat . you are very lucky to have had such a great cousin. he was one of the best small boat lover around and did some great work
That he was….. he’s been looking over my shoulder ever since he left us

Built in 1920
Thanks
That’s a great looking boat. I hope you have the sailing rig as well as that would be great for scooting around the Westport River
