Description
Built at Tacoma Boatbuilding Company in 1976 to be the Shipbuilder’s personal yacht, CEO, Frank Lynotte asked Naval Architect, Ed Monk Jr, to design his yacht, and he lovingly supervised its construction at his shipyard. She has cruised the region for decades.
I am the 5th owner and purchased the boat almost 2 years ago from the previous. Like the previous owner, life happens and unfortunately would like to find a new home for this fantastic wood yacht.
I spent a great amount of time staying on the boat for the first several months; I optimized the space inside the cabin and living quarters.
The 4th owner is a yacht technician by trade. He had the time and the knowledge to keep her going, and brought her back up to peak cruising condition, the keyword is had the time.
The 4th owner lived aboard and worked on her in all his spare time. After 5 years of ownership and upgrades, his family needed to take precedent.
The boat has three levels. The lower level contains the master bedroom with a head and shower, the forward stateroom, a stateroom with bunkbeds, and finally the guest bathroom with a head and shower. The lower level also contains a large amount of storage in the hallway as well as closes. The closet also holds a small freezer.
The main level, or main deck, is the entrance and exit. On the outside of the main deck there is quite a bit of room to walk around from bow to stern. Both the bow and stern have spacious sitting areas. The engine room can also be accessed from the stern. Entering from the stern, you come into the well-spaced out salon. With couches built-in on both sides of the salon, additional storage is easy to access under both.
