The Magic of Great Boat Festivals

with Organizers from the Port Townsend, Australia, and Douarnenez Festivals

Festivals are the lifeblood of the classic boat world. They incentivize boat owners far and wide to give their craft a little extra love and care so they can proudly share the fruits of their labor with friends old and new.

Some boat festivals seem to possess a special recipe. These gatherings of maritime culture go far beyond just displaying nice boats – they foster a celebratory atmosphere with music, vendors, events, and most of all community.

We’re gathering the folks in charge of three festivals which exemplify this magical confluence of good boats, people, and experiences to gain some insight into their “special recipes.” Live Q&A to follow.

Finding Brave in the Race to Alaska

with Jeanne Goussev | 2x Race to Alaska Winner

In 2018, Jeanne Goussev’s Team Sail Like A Girl showed up to R2AK with a buoy-racing monohull and seven adventure-seekers who flipped the race’s early conventional wisdom on its head. 3 years of multihull victories indicated the winning formula was clear. But after 6 days of smashing logs up the Inside Passage and dipping their spreaders during knockdowns in Hecate Strait, Sail Like A Girl was first across the line in Ketchikan, becoming the first monohull and first all-women’s team to take home the $10,000 nailed to a tree.

Sail Like A Girl returned for a hard-fought 4th Place in 2019 and in 2023, Jeanne led a new team, We Brake For Whales. Now aboard her family boat, the beautiful and fast Martin Custom 40 GRAY WOLF, Jeanne again denied the myriad multihulls to become one just a few 2-time R2AK champions.

Jeanne will share inspiring stories from her life on the water. Live Q&A to follow.

What You Need To Know About Marine Electrical Systems

with Kevin Ritz | Systems Lead at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding

For Kevin Ritz, helping create safe marine systems is more than a job – it’s a dedicated personal mission.

In the face of a marine-based tragedy, Kevin Ritz went from cruising with his family to an intense focus on learning all he could about marine electrical and electric shock drowning. He founded a national organization, the Electric Shock Drowning Prevention Association, and has earned certification as an ABYC Master Technician after successfully completing six certifications, including: Marine Electrical, Marine Corrosion, Marine Standards, Marine Master Technician, Marine Gasoline Engine, Marine Systems Certification. In time Kevin became the ABYC’s Lead Instructor and received their Life Service Award in 2015.

Kevin will help demystify the wires throughout our boats and the place individual systems make up in one large system – the boat itself! Through education, awareness, and planning, Kevin will share his knowledge and passion to help us improve the safety and functionality of our boats. Live Q&A to follow.

    Big Discussion on Small Boats

with Small Boat Designers/Builders Clint Chase, Ross Lillistone, and John Welsford

What makes a good small boat? What are the key considerations when designing a small boat? And what are some good examples of small boat design?

Whether you’re rowing, sailing, paddling, or just floating, small craft can distill the dynamics of being on the water and provide poignant experiences often lost in the complication of larger vessels.

John, Clint, and Ross will use examples from their own drawing boards as well as others’ to illustrate the many different facets of small boat design. Live Q&A to follow.

Off Center Harbor co-founder Steve Stone has camp-cruised the entire coast of Maine and will host Geoff and lead the Q&A that follows Geoff’s presentation.

    Live Q&A to follow.

    Speakers:

Geoff Kerr – Teacher, Camp Cruiser

Although I grew up in a boatless North Carolina family, I was graciously innoculated by a family friend with a motor cruiser and an infinite stack of back issues of all the magazines. As a 16 year old casting about for a summer adventure I responded to a magazine ad for the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School. That cold and foggy June in Penobscot Bay introduced me to a lifetime love of sailing and open boat adventuring. College back in North Carolina gave me lots of opportunity for marine science studies and for sailing other people’s boats. An ad in the campus newspaper lead me to a commission as a U.S. Coast Guard officer and 3 years at sea aboard a 180‘ research vessel with pre-GPS cruises ranging from the Grand Banks to Columbia. Our homeport was just down the road from Mystic Seaport which afforded me weekend musing time and an introductory course in wooden boat building. Those years and the next decade or so were once again spent in other people’s boats. Time, money and growing children finally aligned in the early ‘90’s, and armed with Celtic/Norman DNA, a stack of WoodenBoat magazines and a wealth of optimism I built my first boat, a Caledonia Yawl. That experience lead to a now 30 year career as a boatbuilder (5 years with Joe Youcha and the Alexandria Seaport Foundation, and 25 years on my own as Two Daughters Boatworks). I’ve also spent those 30 years sailing and adventuring in “Ned Ludd”, my original Caledonia, wearing out two trailers, 4 tow vehicles and two suits of sails. Over those years I’ve built over 30 of Iain Oughtred’s designs and some 40 other adventure cruising boats ranging from Chesapeake Light Craft prototypes, Francois Vivier pocket cruisers, Graham Byrnes speedsters, a one-off Gartside motor cruiser and a pair of Doug Hylan outboard garveys. To get me out of my cave in the hills I’ve been very fortunate enjoy teaching at The Wooden Boat School for the last 20+ years. That summer gig has afforded me an annual opportunity to cruise and camp the coast of Maine, and to develop the curriculum for the Open Boat Cruising course we’ve been offering at WBS for the last five or so seasons. That summer time in Brooklin also introduced me to the OCH crew and lead to our past collaborations. These 50 years of sailing, thirty years sporting about in Ned Ludd, and the twenty teaching boatbuilding, sailing and adventuring in Maine have contributed to the thoughts and principles I’ll offer in our Worldwide Classic Boat Show presentation.

Was I Scared?! Finding Peace in Whitewater Rowing

    with Peter Fox

This presentation is now available for replay

    Description:

From the Stanislaus River in California to the high rivers of Patagonia, Peter Fox has paddled/rowed his way around the world across four different continents. With a lifetime of rowing, teaching, and traveling, Peter believes that anyone can find a level that is right for them to have a life-changing relationship with running rivers.

Hear the stories of adventure, life lessons, and experiences on the water from one of the best whitewater rafting guides in the world. Live Q&A follows.

    Speakers:

Peter Fox – River Raft Guide, Author

Peter Fox fell in love with rowing boats on rivers in 1980, the first time he ever picked up a pair of oars on the Stanislaus River. He started teaching rowing in 1982. In 1983 he was hired by Sobek Expeditions to guide on his first world class river, the Bio Bio in Chile. In 1985 he helped lead first raft descents of two world renowned rivers, the Futaleufú in Patagonia, and the Grand Canyon of the Stikine in northern British Columbia. He has rowed rivers on four continents, and since retiring from guiding has pursued a personal rowing practice of deepening his connection with rivers, and enjoying a lifetime of feeling like a kid on a playground. In 2014 Peter went back to leading down river rowing schools for the Northwest Rafting Company. He is currently writing a memoir and history of whitewater rowing. At age 70, he still rows, teaches, and believes that anyone can find a level that is right for them to have a life changing relationship with running rivers.

  • Wednesday, 2/21 | Off Center Harbor Movie Night

Wednesday, 2/21 | Off Center Harbor Movie Night

This year we’re doing something special on Off Center Harbor Movie Night. Along with our regular curated playlist of a few of our favorite Off Center Harbor videos from around the world, this year we’re adding a theme of “The Boys in the Boat” after the famous book of the same name.

If you haven’t read the book, or watched the new movie directed by George Clooney, both are well worth your time – the (former) competitive rowers on our crew say: “Both set the high watermark for realistic representation of rowing, both physically and mentally. They are, respectively, the best rowing book and movie ever made.”

Movies include an excellent PBS documentary about the boys and their quest for gold medals, an OCH video with Steve Chapin who builds and restores racing shells that are true to George Pocock’s original boats. These will go live on Feb. 21st and remain open to attendees through the end of the Show.

You can leave comments and questions at the bottom of the page.

The Boys of ’36 PBS Documentary

This PBS documentary gives us a glimpse into history about the UW Rowing team that took home an Olympic Gold Medal in 1936. You may recognize the story from the book, The Boys in the Boat, also recently made into a feature length film by George Clooney. Buy a copy of of the book at your local bookshop or online HERE. The new Hollywood movie of The Boys in the Boat is available for streaming online (for a rental fee as it is still in theaters).

Pocock Classic Racing Shells with Steve Chapin

What do you get when you cross a violin maker with a boatbuilder? We imagine it might look something akin to what happens at the Point Hudson Boat Shop in Port Townsend, Washington. We visited Steve Chapin who has taken over producing the Pocock Cedar Racing Single after the Pocock Co. made it’s last wooden shell in 2003. Pocock Racing Shells set the standard for most of the 20th Century in collegiate and Olympic rowing. With equipment and cedar stock from Pocock and his own boatbuilding skills, Steve Chapin is carrying the Pocock Classic Cedar Single tradition into the 21st century.

Learn more about Pocock Classic Racing Shells on Steve Chapin’s website.

This library of links from Steve is a wealth of knowledge.

We Believe – Platte Canyon High School & the Seventy48

Bailey, Colorado would seem like an unlikely place for boat building or water sports, never mind a yacht club. But that didn’t stop the 13 tough young women and men of Platte Canyon High School who make up the yacht club, built a 40 foot triple hulled canoe, and then hauled it from the mountains of Colorado to Tacoma Washington, in order to compete in the Seventy48, a seventy mile, human powered boat race up Puget Sound. Ya gotta see it to believe it.

    Rowing with Maynard Bray

Rowing can be a real art form. Maynard Bray takes us for a row and describes techniques that can help you become more graceful as well as more effective behind a pair of oars. When it comes to maneuvering a small boat under oars, Maynard is a true master. This is one video not to be missed.

Tom Robinson’s Row Across the Pacific, Part 5–Catch of the Day

Here’s the first chance we’ve had to actually get aboard MAIWAR with Tom to see what it’s actually like rowing across the Pacific Ocean. First up, the fishing.

Tom will join us LIVE on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7pm EST to share stories from his journey across the Pacific after leaving Tongareva. You won’t want to miss this presentation!

Sliding Seat Rowing In A Wherry

Achieving the power and speed possible with sliding seat rowing need not be limited to needle-like shells that are half-a-cheek too narrow for the normal sized rear end. This video explores sculling a kit-built wherry that’s light, handsome, speedy and a far more seaworthy boat than most high performance shells.

A conversation with women in maritime trades around Europe.

This presentation is now available for replay

    Description:

Women In Boatbuilding is a thriving community created to support and inspire women working in boatbuilding and related trades. Join us as we learn about these inspiring women covering several aspects of maritime trades across Europe. From boatbuilding, to teaching, to systems, and rigging, we’ll learn how these women have navigated their careers.

    Speakers:

Belinda Joslin – Boatbuilder, Founder of Women in Boatbuilding

In 2021, Belinda created Women in Boatbuilding as a personal Instagram page while working as a finisher at Spirit Yachts. It has since grown into world-wide community of women who are working hands-on, seeks to inspire, support each other in celebrating their achievements.

Women in Boatbuilding is an online social group that meets monthly and is quickly expanding into other parts of the world.

Etta de Boer – Rigger, Boatbuilder (Germany)

Since 2017 I have worked in the maritime business, including a 3 and a half year long apprenticeship as a wooden boatbuilder. (In Germany we have a dual system, that means that you are working in a company and every three months you go to boatbuilding school for one month. So you get a lot of practical experience as well as theoretical input)

Even though in my free time I spend time on traditional sailing ships, my professional experience was mainly in restoration of smaller wooden boats, up to 10 meters.

2021 I decided that I would like to dedicate my work to bigger sailing vessels, so I joined the team of Sailcargo Inc. in Costa Rica and stayed there for 18 months.

Currently, I am working as a rigger on the rebuild of the rig of a bark, including all steps from preparation, mounting and finishing of the standing and running rigging.

Amy Stringfellow – Boatbuilding Teacher (England)

My name is Amy, I’m a boatbuilder, maker and teacher. I’ve been a boatbuilder for little over 12 years and moved into teaching in that time, teaching adults of all ages to develop wood working skills and both traditional and modern techniques of boat building construction. I am one of the directors of Women in Boatbuilding CIC and continue to support women in industry.

    Clémentine Mollier – Shipwright (France)

My name is Clementine, I’m a French shipwright.

My boatbuilding journey started 6 years ago. After many years of traveling and trying out various eclectic jobs, I was looking at ways to translate my affinity for building into a profession and came across a marine carpentry course in Marseille. I was always drawn by the maritime world and thought it was a perfect fit for me so I enrolled.

After a successful placement at the Elephant Boatyard in Hampshire I was offered a full time job where I worked for 4 and a half years on new wooden builds as well as restorations of iconic British classic boats.

I have since joined the building team of Sail Cargo in Costa Rica and more recently started an exciting job working on the restoration of the HMS Victory in Portsmouth.

Sydney Fassam – Systems Apprentice (England)

My names Sydney fassam I’m 19 one of 3 children and the middle child. Ever since I was little I’ve wanted to do something in engineering (just like my dad), who’s been a massive inspiration to me. When I finally finished school I found my love for electrics, so I applied for an apprenticeship with Sunseeker to learn what I can to become a marine electrical engineer.

    Golden Globe Race Winner

A Conversation with Kirsten Neuschäfer, Golden Globe Race Winner

Hosted by Jeanne Goussev, Race to Alaska Winner

This presentation is now available for replay

    Description:

What makes a sailor decide to embark on a solo, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation using only tools and technology available in 1968 in a 36′ boat? What strategies and reflections does it take to win the most grueling retro race? Kirsten Neuschäfer won the recent 2022 Golden Globe Race, setting several speed records. She sits down with, two time Race to Alaska winner, Jeanne Goussev, to discuss what it takes to compete in high-adventure races and the human experiences behind it.

    • Speakers:

Kirsten Neuschäfer – Adventure Sailor, 2022 Golden Globe Race Winner

Kirsten has been sailing dinghies since her childhood, but sailing since 2006 as a profession. From sail-training to sailboat deliveries, she built a diverse set of skills and experience. Kirsten’s longest single-handing was a delivery from Portugal to South Africa with only a wind-vane as self-steering, on an old and maintenance-intensive 32 foot ferro-cement sloop. In 2015, she started working on Pelagic, a high latitude expedition boat, making trips to South Georgia, The Antarctic Peninsula, Patagonia and the Falklands.

Kirsten has sailed several film crews down to capture the beauty of the Antarctic. She was featured in National Geographic series “Wild_Life Resurrection Island with Bertie Gregory” as she sailed his crew throughout South Georgia to shed light on the beautiful ecosystems and hardships they’ve faced. She also sailed and was a support vessel for several crews from the newest BBC series “Seven Worlds, One Planet” to film animal habitats and behavior.

Along with sailing, she also enjoys other solitary adventures. She cycled from Europe back home to South Africa (15000 km over approximately one year) on her own when she was just 22. She traveled throughout the Northwest and Central Africa into Southern Africa and eventually ending in Cape Agulhas. The trip brought trials and tribulations but was life-enriching in every sense, giving her the deepest appreciation of Africa and her people.

Jeanne Goussev – Adventure Sailor, 2018/2023 Race to Alaska Winner

Jeanne started sailing competitively 25 years ago in Boston Harbor when she met her husband. They bought their cold molded cedar boat Gray Wolf 10 years ago and they enjoy double hand and fully crewed racing in the Puget Sound. In 2018, Jeanne founded Team Sail Like a Girl to compete in the Race to Alaska. Her all women crew became the first monohull to win the race. In 2023, she competed on Gray Wolf with her husband and a team of 8 and came in first again, this time with a 2 year diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.

Mix your favorite cocktail, or brew a good cuppa joe, and join the crew as we celebrate the opening of the 2024 Worldwide Classic Boat Show.  We’ll have our traditional opening margarita in-hand to kick-off the Show, and we’ll give you a quick insider’s tour of what not to miss on the website and what’s happening at the Show.

    Off Center Harborita Recipe*:

    • Place four ice cubes into a Bonne Maman jam jar (or other jar with a lid).
    • Pour tequila up to the top of the curved decor on the glass and then fill to the top with limeaide (a 40/60 ratio of tequila/limeade):
      • Hornitos Reposado or Sauza Conmemorativo tequila (NOT Jose Cuervo!)
      • Simply Limeade (Newman’s Own Limeade is a good substitute)
    • Close sealed lid and shake wildly 40 times (shaking is the key to smoothness)
    • Sit back, open, sip and enjoy the Show (stronger than they taste so drink with care – 1.5 drinks is our max)
    • Save more Bonne Maman jam jars to build a set of eight for guests (blend can be made in pitcher)

We have Texas margarita-snob roots and this mix is as good as any complex, fussy, high-maintenance blend

What I Learned Rowing Across the Pacific Ocean

There’s big news awaiting us this year with Tom Robinson, and the final recap of his solo row across the Pacific Ocean. If you’ve been following along with video series we’ve created with Tom (on Off Center Harbor), you know there was a capsize and rescue, but that’s not the end of the story. Tom will take us through the final stretch of the voyage, the discovery of his boat in Papua New Guinea, and most importantly what he’s learned (so far) from his voyage. And that “big news”? We’ll let Tom break that during his presentation. Live Q&A to follow.

A Conversation with Maynard Bray Using Drawings, Photos & Dreams

    Presentation replay is now available.

What makes classic wooden boats so beautiful? And how are they so stunning and seaworthy at the same time? Few people have spent more time analyzing classic yacht designs and designers than Maynard Bray, and he joins boatbuilder Eric Blake and author Bill Mayher for a discussion of drawings and photos of some of the most beautiful and seaworthy boats from legendary designers of the golden age of yacht design draftsmanship.

The live intro and movie are now available as a replay below.

From the stormy seas of Cape Horn to the wilds of the Sahara Desert, few modern sailors have seen more adventures nor inspired more dreams than Larry Pardey. Sailing more than 200,000 miles and circumnavigating both east-about and west-about in engine-free boats he built himself, co-authoring 12 books and creating 5 videos, Larry has been called “the Enabler” and “the man who launched 50,000 dreams.” The Real Deal is an intimate profile created by Mike Anderson, video producer, boatbuilder, and a longtime friend of Larry Pardey. The crux of the tale is the Pardey’s voyage to and around Cape Horn, the so-called “Mt. Everest of Sailing.” Along with at-sea footage, interviews with a variety of friends and associates, and archival film clips and photographs, the story is narrated via quotes from sailing writer Herb McCormick’s critically acclaimed biography of the couple, As Long as It’s Fun.

In 2016, Capt. Peter Wilcox and Bridget Bayer proposed the Inside Passage Decarbonization Project to tribes/bands, fuel dealers, ports, fishermen/women and commercial and recreational boaters from Washington to Alaska, throughout the Inside Passage. The goals of the IPDP are to make it easy for boaters who want to voyage petroleum-free in the Inside Passage, for marine dealers to gradually – beginning now – replace high carbon fossil fuels with renewable “green diesel” (which is 60-80% cleaner over its lifecycle) and renewable electricity – all in the next 20 years.

The Pandemic may have stopped our in-person activities short, but it also gave us an unexpected opportunity to dig into the archives while on lockdown. Thanks in large part to extraordinary recent developments in the digitization and transcription of previously unpublished material from collections around the world, we have been putting together pieces of the historic puzzle in a manner that was not possible even five years ago. Join us as we explore recent discoveries from this new age of historic exploration: boats long forgotten or never built, photos that haven’t seen the light of day for a hundred years, previously unidentified models, and long forgotten Gilded Age tales of ocean-spanning cruises… whatever you’ve heard before, this is not the same-old, same-old Herreshoff!

They will explain how Brion Toss Rigging, being skilled in the traditional, is so well versed to adapt the traditional skills to the modern fiber.
“Wire rigging is, after all, the attempt of a previous generation to do with wire what they had previously done with rope. A couple of hundred years later, we are just running things the other way.” – Brion Toss.

    Q&A with Tom:

Last year, Tom gave a presentation looking forward to beginning the journey he’d been dreaming about since he was 13 years old – rowing across the Pacific Ocean in a beautiful wooden boat he designed and built. Last summer, Tom met his boat MAIWAR in Peru and cleared all kinds of international challenges before shoving off into the Pacific and rowing for 160 days before setting foot on land – weeks longer than planned when he missed his original destination. Now waiting out cyclone season on Tongareva AKA Penrhyn Island, Tom will join us to share stories, impressions, and photos from his journey so far.

Mix your favorite cocktail, or brew a good cuppa joe, and join the crew as we celebrate the opening of the 2023 Worldwide Classic Boat Show.  We’ll have our traditional opening margarita in-hand to kick-off the Show, and we’ll give you an insider’s tour of the website and what’s happening at the Show this week.

    Off Center Harborita Recipe*:

    • Place four ice cubes into a Bonne Maman jam jar (or other jar with a lid).
    • Pour a 50/50 blend of the following into the glass up to the rim:
      • Hornitos Reposado or Sauza Conmemorativo tequila (NOT Jose Cuervo!)
      • Simply Limeade (Newman’s Own Limeade is a good substitute)
    • Close sealed lid and shake wildly 40 times (shaking is the key to smoothness)
    • Sit back, open, sip and enjoy the Show (stronger than they taste so drink with care – 1.5 drinks is our max)

We have Texas margarita-snob roots and this mix is as good as any complex, fussy, high-maintenance blend

Rowing Across the Pacific Ocean in a Wooden Boat, Part 2

with Tom Robinson – Boatbuilder & Adventurer

Live Q&A to follow.

Sunday, Feb. 19th at 7:30pm EST in the U.S. (UTC 00:30)

“The Race to Alaska” Movie Night

R2AK has been called “the best worst idea,” spurring all varieties of folks in boats ( as long as they don’t have a motor) to race unsupported from Port Townsend, WA to Ketchikan, AK. The Race to Alaska Movie mixes raw racer-shot footage with vast aerials and in-depth interviews to tell the story of the race’s improbable inception and the journey of the men and women who have answered the call to action. These everyday heroes challenge themselves to find their edge on an exhilarating, engineless charge through the Pacific Northwest, traversing one of the most complex and beautiful race courses on Earth. Live Q&A to follow.

Synthetic Standing Rigging on Classic Boats

with Ian Weedman and Jen Bates – Riggers, Brion Toss Yacht Rigging

These master riggers will explain the advantages of synthetic fiber over steel rigging systems and talk about its numerous benefits for modern and classic boats. Live Q&A to follow.

    Hidden Stories of the Herreshoffs

with Evelyn Ansel – Curator, Herreshoff Marine Museum

Live Q&A to follow.

    The Inside Passage Decarbonization Project

with Capt. Peter Wilcox and Bridget Bayer – Co-Founders, IPDP

In 2016, Capt. Peter and Bridget proposed the Inside Passage Decarbonization Project to tribes/bands, fuel dealers, ports, fishermen/women and commercial and recreational boaters from Washington to Alaska, throughout the Inside Passage. The goals of the IPDP are to make it easy for boaters who want to voyage petroleum-free in the Inside Passage, for marine dealers to gradually – beginning now – replace high carbon marine fuels with 90% or more locally made, clean and waste-based, job-creating green biofuels and renewable electricity, and for marinas and ports to shift to renewable shore power – all in the next 20 years. Live Q&A to follow.

Friday, Feb. 24th at 7:30pm EST in the U.S. (UTC 00:30)

Larry Pardey, “The Real Deal” Movie Night

    Live intro with Lin Pardey

Few people have spent more time analyzing classic yacht designs and designers than Maynard Bray, and he joins boatbuilder Eric Blake and author Bill Mayher for a discussion of drawings and photos of some of the most beautiful and seaworthy boats from legendary designers of the golden age of yacht design. The British Columbia Coast & Inside Passage

    (a.k.a. Bill & Tad’s Excellent Adventure)

    Tuesday, February 23, 2021 – 1900 GMT/UTC

with Yacht Designer Tad Roberts & Capt. Bill Noon — Capt. Karen Sullivan Moderating

Yacht designer Tad Roberts and retired Canadian Coast Guard Captain Bill Noon will be taking us up the coast of British Columbia and the Inside Passage. These gentlemen have spent their lives in boats of the BC coast, studying every boat that crosses their bow, and they’ll be sharing their deep knowledge of the boats of this coastline with all of us.

They’ve also explored nearly every nook and cranny of these waters, and know the history of the land and its people. So their discussion of boats will be set in the context of the wild, beautiful landscape. The moderator for this talk is former schooner captain Karen Sullivan who’s cruised extensively in these waters herself, including single-handed voyages to Alaska. Q&A to follow.

    Happy Hour Celebration / Reflection / Q&A

We have a reputation for throwing wicked good beer parties at the festivals we attend, so join the whole Off Center Harbor crew who put this show together as we raise a toast to celebrate with everyone this Friday at 2200 GMT (5:00pm Maine/New York time).

We’ll take a little time to reflect on the show and lay out what’s going to happen with the site while we’re all eagerly awaiting the opening of the gates next year.

Just like at the real-life boat festivals, our parties are really about connecting with those who support what we do. So please leave your thoughts about the show as a comment below. If you’ll ask us any questions you may have, we’ll try to answer them during the discussion.
