Rhubarb is a 1961 Shepherd built at Niagara on the Lake, Ontario Canada. She spent most of her life on Muskoka before ending up in Omaha, NE. She has her original 413 Chrysler Golden Commando Engine (perhaps the first installed from the factory). She was preserved with changes to our liking by Alan Thomle Boat Works and the engine, transmission and V-drive were rebuilt by Marty Haack – Blockhead Machine. We have pulled her 25k miles to the last five ACBS International Boat Shows and cruised many, many great bodies of water throughout the US and Canada.

Jeff, I received favorable reviews from friends suggesting Off Center Harbor is a class operation. So I joined for $50 and entered my boat. The ACBS submitted three pages.. Rudder, International Boat show and ACBS International. Ron created a page for ACBS-PNW. So far I have enjoyed the show. Thank you for your comment. Scott
Gorgeous boat Scott…we had a new 46 22′ shepherd in our boathouse for over 40 years…loved it. Love the engine in yours and the very fancy woodwork on the dash and floor.
Thank you, When we bought her she had vinyl for ceiling boards and carpeted floors. We made changes but tried to keep to Canadian traditions. The first time it was judged they knocked the engine down for Crome and wiring of course… then in the comments the judge wrote -1 “gorgeous”. Now that every wake boarding and wake surfing boats are V-drives it’s kind of nice to be cool before it was cool.
That’s still a great looking boat Scott!
Looks good Scott! Jeff & Corrine
