The Welsford Six-metre Whaler is modelled on the Royal Navy’s 27-foot whalers, using modern epoxy-ply clinker construction with a standing-lug sprit-boomed yawl rig. Exceptionally seaworthy, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, she is equally suited to daysailing up to nine and to camp-cruising a couple. The low-aspect, divided rig is flexible and easily handled. She combines many virtues with few if any vices.

Beluga certainly fell into the correct hands when you came along, Tony. Congratulations for your determination and sensitive use of such a lovely boat.
That’s very generous, thanks Ross. She also fell into the right hands with the works you performed, which really improved the boat in several important ways.
One smooth-sailing vessel!

Looks so comfortable!
Thanks Mack. She’s certainly bigger and heavier than TEMPO, but it is nice having all that space for stretching out.
