Owner’s Description
In WoodenBoat No. 59, Maynard Bray said, “One of the prettiest and best kept carriers on the Maine coast is the 83′ Pauline. She is one of six or more similar boats thtat were modeled by Roy Wallace and built between 1947 and 1952 at the Newbert and Wallace yard in Thomaston.”Pauline is being fully restored by Clark and Eisele Traditional Traditional Boatbuilding for use by OceansWide, a nonprofit educational organization that provides students with on-the-water experiences with professionals and equipment for ocean exploration and observation. Pauline will be a platform for expanded programming. The first video documentation of her restoration is forthcoming, and we’re working hard to fully fund this project. Please visit our website to give and be a part of this restoration.
