Ada Hardy started life as a 62′ Tasmanian cray (lobster) fishing vessel and was converted, in 2007, by her current owner to a long distance passagemaker. She is built entirely of Celery Top pine and is powered by a single Gardner 8L3B engine. She cruises at a speed of just over 8 knots and has a range of approximately 3,000nm.
